I wish we could drive around in this for Baseball Trip '11.
Scoop riled up the crowd.
The Pelicans play at the Univ. at Central Florida's ballpark. I love independent league baseball.
The high class suites at Pelicans Park.
After walking around the park, I headed to the bathroom. I was told not to come in by a worker. She said, "You don't wanna come in, someone doodoohed all over the floor. Probably one of the childrens. But adults do it too." Nice.
I love that kids were allowed to sit on the dugouts to watch the game.
Erik snagged a foul ball! Moments after this picture was taken, an 8-year-old girl came over and asked for the ball. She said that her baseball coach (who was watching a couple of sections over) had told her to ask for the ball. Erik's hand was forced and he felt like he had to give up the ball. The coach and the entire team gave him a round of applause. Hooray for extortion!
(photo by Erik)Immediately after the game ended, kids were allowed on the field to get player autographs. Erik was happy to see that the girl who stole his ball was getting it autographed by all of the players.
After the game, we saw some lights so we headed over to watch the end of some Little League tournament.
